Clove Lemonade

1 pint water
6 lemons
1 tsp. whole cloves
2 c.sugar

Boil together the water,lemon juice,cloves and sugar until thoroughly dissolved.
Use 2 tablesppons syrup for each glass,filling up with charged water and ice.
Makes about 1 quart

Ginger Cocktail

2 c. diced peaches
2 c. Diced Bananas
1 c. Orange Juice
8 tbsp. powdered sugar
8 tsp Chopped ginger

Combine the peaches and bananas and pour over them the orange juice and sugar.
Arrange in glasses and sprinkle ginger over the tops.
Serves 8

Minted Raspberryade

2 c. Raspberries
1 1/2 c. Sugar
Few sprigs mint
2 lemons
2 oranges
Water

Crush berries and heat slowly to extract the juice,adding a little water if necessary.
Strain juice thru cheesecloth.
Add sugar and crushed mint.
Cool and add juice of lemons and oranges.
Dilute with twice the quantity of cold water and serve with cracked ice with a sprig of mint in each glass.
If fresh mint is not available a few drops of spearmint extract may be used.
Makes about 2 1/2 quarts.

Mulled Cider

2 inches stick cinnamon
6 cloves
1/2 tsp. Allspice
2 Quarts cider
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
Grated nutmeg

Tie the spices in a square of cheese cloth,add them to the ciderand
bring slowly to boiling point.
beat the eggs with the sugar,pour the hot cider over them,strain into glasses and grate a very little nutmeg over each serving.

Hot Cocoa 

4 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbs. sugar
Pinch salt
1/2 c. water
1 quart milk

Mix cocoa and sugar,and salt and combine with the water,which may be either hot or cold, to make a smooth paste.
Boil for 3 minutes.
Add milk which has been scalded and blend thoroughly.
Use rotary egg beater will prevent the formation of scum.
Makes 1 quart

Eskimo Cup

1 c. Grapefruit juice
1/2 c. Lemon juice
1 1/2 c. Grape juice
1 c. Water
1 pint Ginger Ale

Mix the juices,sugar and water and stiruntil the sugar is dissolved.
Add ginger ale and serve with cracked ice.
Makes 1 1/4 quarts
