Gelatin Salads Molded
Jellied Ambrosia

1 envelope gelatin

1/4 c. Cold water

1/4 c. Boiling water

1/4 c. Sugar

1 1/4 c. Orange juice

1 tbsp. Lemon Juice

2 large oranges

1 Large Banana

3 tbsp. Shredded coconut

Directions;

Soften gelatin in cold water.
Dissolve in boiling water.
Add sugar and stir until completely
dissolved.

Add orange and lemon juice,let cool

Section oranges and slice into pieces
Slice banana.

When gelatin is syrupy,fold in fruits
and coconut and place in mold.




Molded Banana Cream Salad

8 oz. Cream cheese

2 tbsp. Mayonnaise

2 tbsp. Lemon juice

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/2 c. Crushed pineapple drained

1/4 c. Chopped Marischino cherries

3 diced bananas

3/4 c. Whipped cream

Directions;

Add cream cheese,mayo,salt,lemon juice
and beat until creamy.

Add fruit,nuts if desired and fold in whipped
cream.

Put into large mold

Chill 3 hours

Unmold and serve with pineapple dressing
and garnish with paprika
Bavarian Salad

2 packages Strawberry jello

1 can Pineapple chunks

2 c. hot water mixed with pineapple juice

1 pint vanilla ice cream

1 c. finely diced celery

1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions;

Stir jello in hot liquid until dissolved

Add the ice cream then let cool

Using a food processor whirl the pineapple
chunks to make it crushed.

When mixture begins to thicken add the
pineapple & Celery then nuts

Refrigerate in a 1 quart mold a few hours.

To unmold place it in hot water a minute
turn upside down and it will come out.

Frosted Lime - Walnut

1 c. hot water

1 pkg Lime jello

1 can crushed pineapple undrained

1 c. cottage cheese

1/2 c. finely chopped celery

1 tbsp. chopped pimento

1/2 c. chopped walnuts

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese

1 tbsp Mayonnaise

1 tsp. Lemon juice

Directions;

Pour hot water over jello;stir until dissolved

Chill until slightly thickened

Add pineapple , cottage cheese , celery
and pimento.

Pour into 9x9 cake pan; chill until firm.

Frost with combined cream cheese , Mayo
and lemon juice.

Cut into squares and arrange on lettuce and
top with walnuts.
