So, You Want To Make A You Tube Video
Anyone can cook, well most of us can.
You dont need any special skills but practice
makes it perfect.
I finally mastered Carrot Cake and you say well
thats easy but really it isn't as easy as one might
think.
The trick to making it moist so it doesn't dry out
even in the fridge is the pineapple.
Use a can of pineapple chunks, drain the juice
then put the chunks in a food processor and whirl
it around about 5 seconds then add it all in your
cake and dont forget 1 tsp. ground cloves.
The clove gives it a tiny bite and the home made
crushed pineapple gives it the right moisture.
My recipe calls for 3/4 cup but the whole can of chunks
comes out more...dont sweat it.
The cake will remain moist while you carve one it
for a week and cream cheese frosting adds a nice
touch but there tons of sugar in it so i choose to
not frost mine except for my birthday.
When you make a video give an intro and make
your individual shots, add dialog and dont rush.
I am monetized and when YT says longer than
8 minutes they should say 9 minutes minimum
and that way you can be safe.
Dont use foul language and dont tell any jokes.
Make sure its all original content and remember
it has to be family friendly.
The video should be 10 minutes or longer and
using a video editor does take some practice.
Create a thumbnail with Canva (free edition)
Practice with pictures and text and use a
template to snazz it up.
Tags are keywords that people type in to get
video suggestions.
You can add a subscribe button at the end of your
video with another video to watch.
Be patient and practice....But just be you and
not some phony baloney persona.
Be as real as you can and perhaps your channel
will get noticed but dont let yourself get in a
down mood...Ive had many channels on YT since
2010 and now in 2025 i have success.
Use the video camera on your phone and get a
tripod with phone attachment.
Basic lighting is all you need and always clean
your kitchen beforehand.
Original content is everything. Peace, BigT
BigT's Video Editing Ideas & Tips
First thing you need is a good camera.
My new phone has a damn good camera
and shoots front and back.
Use the screen as a monitor using the back
camera lens and do a practice pose to make
sure you are in frame.
Secondly, Give yourself cues in your video.
Point at the camera and using your fingers
count 3-2-1 Action.....Then pause for the count
of 3 then do your video.
You need to give yourself time for your video
editor...it makes it easier to do exact slicing
of the video.
If your doing a long shot, give yourself cues in
video for things like stepping away from the cam
then cue yourself back in and always wait 3
seconds before starting.
Those tips will help you in editing.
Always come up with your own material and
be as original as possible.
Use your cam very often, doing individual shots
and sequenced shots....Crack an egg on the edge
of your mixer bowl....great shot.
It's all up to you really and being creative
with shots are keys to a great video.
With open shot you can overlap a track
for a simple transition.
The scissors icon once pressed will cut your
clip then press again to put it away.
Intros and outros are great ways to start
and end a video.
A great Freeware Video Editor for Linux,Mac
and Windows is Openshot.

The Van The journey
It all started in October when I was making a run
into Anchorage to pay a friend a visit when the van
would get this hesitation then full drivetrain clunk.
I thought It was injectors or water in my gas as I
had filled up there in a pinch.
A bottle of heat with injector cleaner didn't do the
trick and I had spent my PFD check on some repairs
and other debts.
It comes at the needed time most.
After some really somewhat scary episodes,I had
decided to park it for the winter and ride the Transit
we have out here.
I had a good time and they were very helpful and
now comes the part. I had taken it to the mechanics
shop and got it fixed just right.
Turns out my Mass Airflow Sensor had 5 codes
pointing to it and the Automatic Transmission was
long overdue for servicing and $699 later I was
cruising down the road in style.
Its nice to be independent and its nice to know
Sunshine Transit is available these days.
Now I can go on Water runs and go where I want.
So long as i dont break down again,I will be driving
after this long winter.

The Rise Of BigT
One calm December eve , I uploaded what
I thought was a great video after a 6 hour
computer build , well unbuild then rebuild
as I was transferring my computer to the
new Phanteks Enthoo TG Pro case.
I went to bed with 858 subscribers then
poof on Monday a few days later I crested
33,000 subscribers and the rest is history
well at least for me.
I now am sporting 233,418 subscribers
in 5 months and it keeps climbing.
People from all around the world coming
from other social media like TikTok and
Instagram and facebook.
Its really an honor that someone i do not know
would put me out there like that and to be honest
back last year my life as it seemed was going
nowhere real fast then boink I am famous.
I finally got my chefs hat and chefs black.
Why? Well shoot dang why not!!!
I am doing much better at cooking and as
a youth i started helping my mom at age 9.
I told my mother I wanted to be a Chef
when I grew up. But that never happened
as life is hard at first when you are finally
out on your own.
I am getting used to reading old cook books
and deciphering the instructions and once
in a while i do a test run first but most of
the time I wing it and it works.
My friend John called me Chef BigT so that
is who i am today...It will only get better.
Before all this I was an avid gaming
session was in January as I started a new game
and was completely sucked in but as fate
would have it I do not have that kind of time
more than once in a blue moon.
I have made new friends and am admired
around the community , Oh but not everyone
as there are still "those people"...LOL
This is a mighty return of a fallen warrior.
You know the vows right?
For rich or poor , In sickness and health
These are all aspects of all our lives.
No one ever has it good all the time.
You have to believe in yourself when nobody
else does.

Baking A Lots
Boy , let me tell ya , I am baking lots now.
Ever since December of last year I have
been baking like the end of time is next year.
Now its the middle of May and there's plenty
of recipes to make.
I have a list sitting here at the table of different
goodies to make with the ingredients to make
them.
Deciding on a recipe is usually whatever I decide
at the moment and other times its planned in
such a way.
Getting to the end of the month with out running
out of supplies is sometimes impossible.
Now that I have a summers worth of propane I can
bake til my hearts content.
I like to give my baked goods away to the ladies at
the local clinic because most of what i make i dont
keep at the cabin...Sugar, Yanno
How sustainable are cooking videos really?
Just depends on your level of creativity.
The more I cook,the better i get.
That is key....Practice practice practice.
Maybe i will do something more elaborate in
the future....And yes.
The front pic is Baked beans over cornbread
and it turned out so well, ive never had such
a meal in a long time.
Everything was perfect and it made a 31 minute
video which took 7 1/2 hours to upload.
My dishes seem to come together even with
winging it....it simply works out.
Now reading recipe books and envisioning the
outcome is becoming a regular occourance.

The Green Of It All
So here we are after the most lame winter
of all time and just a couple weeks ago
it seemed there wasn't a leaf or blade of grass
on anything then suddenly like a monster
out of its cave ...Boom its green everywhere.
I remember a winter with 7 inches of snow
but it was cold as hell all that winter and
some with running water had their source
pipe freeze from their well and others were
in a mad frenzy trying to not freeze over.
Its the perils of trying to be civilized in
The Last Frontier.
This isn't Oregon,heck it doesn't even get
cold there but i see it all the time, people
come here and bring their lower 48 ways
with them only to be sucker punched by
the way we do things up here.
This last winter was really warm but our
biggest city of 350 thousand was issuing
concerning warnings they were running
low on Natural Gas....People were just
burning the stuff real fast.
Saturday a friend came by with a real nice
gift of a small woodstove from his old place
that he moved out of and it just needs a good
scrubbing with a wire brush and some stove
black paint and a good cleaning but you know
what the best deal? It was FREE
So i go outside every day and no matter how
down a guy can feel, just looking at the greenery
all over my property...its everywhere like the
land has awoken and the Magick of Spring
and early summer is apparent everywhere.
So come this June its Sasquatch season again.
And a great time to rid my neighborhood of
thos pesky trespassers claiming "i thought
it was abandoned"..........Its always the case.
Gotta fertilize those apple trees somehow.
Now with all the leaves blocking a view of
my cabin from the road i can go out in the
morning in my birthday suit and take a wizz
being mindful of my surroundings,Bears....
And they are in season too...
Peace, BigT
Make It Wing It
For the last 31 years on my property I've made some
terrible food and screwed up so many meals but dont
we all,we have our moments.
When I first got my Ninja air fryer,a gift from a friend
i had to experiment with the temp and time and i did
completely ruin a Beef ribeye one time...LOL
I do have an air fryer cookbook that really helped out
a lot and its been a grand few years with this device.
Air fry steak fries real easy, Slice a couple large potatoes
and place them in the basket and spray with canola
then sprinkle with garlic powder and salt n pepper.
Set to 400 for 20 minutes then after 10 minutes lightly
toss the fries and cook another 10 minutes.
Honestly you cant go wrong with steak fries.
Pork steak 400 for 28 minutes, season to your choice
then turn at 14 minutes and that makes the perfect
Pork steak you will ever have.
From pretty basic to all out gourmet your mind is
the key as most all recipes i try here at the cabin are
purely experimental and rarely do i ruin anything.
Video editing is key to making a seemingly disaster
turn into a work of art.....Just gotta edit out the
mistake or screw up and voila its perfect..LOL
But seriously its all about learning from your
mistakes and perfecting your technique.
Tonight i am down to the end of my supplies
so i had most of the ingredients for this recipe.
Creamy chicken vegetable cheese soup.
3 c. water....2 chicken thighs diced is how i made
the stock and 2 c. American cheese cubed
3 c. milk with peas and carrots canned
and a medium onion diced.
I had it completed then on first spoon i realized
i had forgotten the 6 tbsp. flour so i went back
to the kitchen which is a few steps away and fixed it.
The soup was pretty good but i was down to my last
2 chicken thighs but it made great stock as i never
buy stock from the store and home made is much
better anyway.
Sometimes you have to make do with what you have.
Its all about your creative juices and what you can
come up with on your own.
Wing it til you make it is the motto of the day and
tomorrow I may come up with something catchier.

3rd Annual You Tube Content Creators Meetup
First off never drive after having little sleep.
I was worried I would nod off at the wheel
and end up in some crazy fiery crash or something
worse.
The night before the meetup i was up really late
dutifully uploading a 17 minute video to YT then
crawled into bed at 1:30 am only to get up at 7am to
start my day....and plenty of coffee to make me really
zippy like i am a percolator myself.
I was so exhausted from the entire week i simply
forgot to shoot video of the meetup and being barely
awake for the event.
Upon arriving to the meetup there was only 12 people
myself included so i inquired but not that many You
Tubers were RSVP for the event and the food table was
rather sparse.
Oh yeah i brought the Banana Salad and all who had
some gave me a positive review.
Crystal from Flat Tire Farm gave me a couple bars
of her famous Goats Milk soap which she makes
from scatch,no melt and pour for her goods as she
makes her soap from scratch...nice scents and colours.
She did say that those 2 bars were "manly" so
i accepted.
Another Lady gave a small lecture about keeping
yourself safe while putting out content on your
channel...ie crazy people,the mentally unstable
stalker viewers and such...
Bill gave a brief talk on extra security measures
to take on YT to protect your channel.
I will email him for that spread sheet to use those
extra measures....Thanks Bill- My Alaska
And Bill got on grill duty for cheeseburgers and
hotdogs,I didn't have any dogs heeding my doctors
warning but i had a couple doubles as i spaced
out eating breakfast.
Crystal did drawings for door prizes thru out
the afternoon and i won a really nice necklace
and some beard care items.
There was another Go Pro Camera drawing
but i didn't win...again...theres always next year.
There was about 20 YT personalities there with
a few subscribers.
John In Alaska showed up with a cooler holding
Corona Extra and Corona Light and a church key.
I knocked back 4 over the afternoon with food
as i rarely drink and yes the beer was nice and
icy cold...Thanks John.
Dusty Bottom Boys was there with Charlie who
was having his 6th birthday and a big cake
and gifts.
We all sang him Happy Birthday and got to have
some cake...I went for a piece and i was cut a BIG
piece with extra frosting and went for seconds.
Scott showed up and attended for a couple hours
and brought his fancy drone and his home made
slushy from his machine in a cold insulated
container and i had my first slushy...darn tootin
good. We went out to the van and he showed me
his new backpack for the drone equipment and
flew it around the parking lot demonstrating
his drone skills...I was impressed to say the least.
He has 5 drones i think and offered me his stupid
drone as he put it...I accepted so on a Saturday i
will drive to Los Anchorage and get it...
How stupid? I will crash a lot apparently.
Next year i will make sure to get plenty of sleep
before such an event and make lots of cookies
and a molded salad...i do need a mold to do it.
All said I enjoyed the company and friendships
i have made...its nice to be able to talk to real
people instead of just my cats.

The Coming Of Neptune
This January I noticed a white cat that was
rather small haunting my property.
I couldn't get close to it more than 30 feet.
The cat would run very fast and seemed it
was feral.
I went inside and fetched a bowl of cat food
and left it out on the other side of the driveway.
She as i know her now came to the bowl and
woofed it all down rather voraciously.
This went on since the last of January and I
kept feeding her and she got used to eating.
In April i started feeding her twice a day
and she loved that.
As time went on she came closer and closer
but she wasn't hissing like she was wild but
instead would meow at me and i came to
realize that she was a dump cat meaning
some person brought her down my street
and threw her out.
Las week of May she let me get withing
10 feet while meowing at me so i took a
chance and closed the distance then
she walked right up to me and let me
touch her for the first time.
I was excited to say the least and we began
getting to know each other and on day 3
she jumped onto my knee while in my sitting
chair and got all sorts of attention and purred
a lot and enjoyed the touch.
I would go out with food and water and call her
and she would run to me.
Ive been adopted..LOL
Orion on the other hand was not so thrilled
and was hissing and growling at her especially
when she tried to come inside for the first time.
Now its June 29th and the both of them get along
so far and she waits for me to open the door in the
morning and comes running in when i call.
She is always near the cabin and never wanders
away as she comes and goes as she wishes.
She doesn't sleep inside yet but that is coming.
This next winter will be brutally cold so I hope
she gets clued in as the season changes and she
even has a bed inside to sleep on if she wishes.
During the day she sits at my feet and both cats
rub noses so Orion is getting used to her.
She has quite a good disposition.
All I can do is wait til the day i close the door
and she settles down in her bed.
Peace, BigT
Saturday Drive To The Big City
It all started the night before as I set my
alarm clock for 6 am.
I settled in under the blanket because the
flying blood suckers are everywhere.
I awoke at 520 am and got right up and
made my way down the ladder to the coffee
pot and sat down to await the perky goodness
in my cup.
Neptune was already inside as she comes
thru the window now getting settled herself.
Lots of nibbles around and this kitty is a
scavenger so everything is up for grabs.
I scratched out some breakfast and fired
up my Briar and puffed the tobacco.
I had set the alarm on my phone so I
wouldn't overshoot my departure time.
850 am so out the door and made a stop
at the Red Speedo.
Now on my way to Los Anchorage.
The traffic was pretty light and surprised
me at how anyone would be out after the
parties on the 4th.
Speeders everywhere and scofflaws abound.
I was very mindful of the speed signs and took
every precaution and made a stop at N.Eagle
River for some Petrol.
One refueled i headed back to the AutoBahn
and the traffic now is like crazy.
People seriously need to use their turn signals
because nobody was doing that and it got me to
thinking about all those idiots with licenses.
Once to Muldoon Rd it thinned out quickly
and was a breeze thru the rest of town.
I found my turnoff and spent 5 minutes trying
to find the right apt.
My friend was there to greet me and i got my
hands on a slushy and so good.
Scott fired up the ninja and grilled those
ribeye steaks and we visited.
Now he shows me the drone and its small
but he explained it to me and i got my first
test flight and crashed 3 times in the living room.
He did give me advice and some warnings too.
So i will heed those. There are rules apparently.
So this morning I fired up the video editor and
made my driving video.....Upload 11 hours
I have a dirt slow upload speed...not the best
but i wanted to live in the woods, you cant have
your cake and eat it too.
Now i have something my endless manic mind
can enjoy....Thanks Scott.

Peace And Quiet Finally
A couple weeks back there was much hoobaloo
over Neptune and Kittens and Both myself and
Orion had our lives turned upside down.
I did keep a kitten and she is our new little one.
She was the runt of the litter and was always
getting pushed out of the saucer and bowl so
I had to take her aside and feed her separately.
She is adjusting to cabin life and soon will
figure out the ladder....she is very inquisitive
and mischevious.
A longtime friend is footing the bill for spay
and shots which is really nice.
So this week i am settling in and getting back
to my normal daily life...what ever normal
you want to label me with..LOL
Orion is adjusting still,he has a bit of PTSD
from Neptune terrorizing him behind my back.
He is so happy to have his longtime home back.
I will be real careful not to take in or feed stray
cats again...Oh i would like to keep every one
of them but its just not possible.
I think this Yule i will get a small tree for the table
and have gifts for the cats...
One bossy orange tabby and a white flash....
Seems ordinary...
Peace, BigT
Helios & Orion
Well a few weeks ago Neptune surprised
us all with kittens and quickly did a 180
and became the most aggressive and vicious
cat and turned on Orion with a vengeance.
Of course she did this all behind my back
and it took 6 days to realize that my orange
tabby was actually being terrorized.
I found him hiding in tall grass and this
was not his style at all.
I mean he had his own space in the loft
with litter box food and water but still
according to Neptune he wasn't even
allowed up there and it put me at wits
end.
Wednesday July 16th, Her and the 3
kittens went to a cat rescue and i did keep
1 kitten as she was the runt of the litter.
Helios was constantly being pushed out
of the food dish so i had to feed her by
herself.
That day I had watched her wrestling
with her siblings and felt so bad about the
whole thing because I knew I couldn't
have 6 cats in my tiny home..12x16 cabin.
After all the excitement it has taken
Orion some time to readjust plus he got
a case of PTSD from what he experienced.
He has been calming down and getting
used to this little kitten.
I told him hes OK and very safe and theres
nothing to worry about.
He is getting along fine and has even went
outside a few times this last week.
Helios is short for heliosphere...Its an
Astrophysics thing.
She is so playful and attacks my foot and
nibbles my toes....LOL
She knows his limits but he is easing off
the defensive and I am sure she will win
his heart one day.
As a kitten Helios is a fast learner but
she does not like getting a bath as she is
all white except her ears and tail which
are kinda pinkish.
Her favorite spot is at the back of the chair
while i sit..She feels safe.
All the while my Tabby has his spot under
the chair that I built with subscriber
donations from my You Tube Gig.
Only time will tell when the two of them
wrestle and play together.
Orion is 14 years old and has been an
only child and one day i know when he
passes I dont want to be alone.
He has a a Grand life here at the cabin
and now we have an addition to our family.
Peace, BigT
Anxiety & Getting Back Into It
Last month in July I had the wildest trials
and tribulations since a very long time.
Neptune turned out to be a mother and was
scoping out her new digs with 4 kittens.
Its all over with now but the situation
brought back Major Anxiety that i was
riddled for several weeks without relief.
A close friend told me about a medicine
he takes for anxiety and i told my provider
so i got 60 pills and took an afternoon and
evening dose then Friday I was off real
early in the morning to pay property taxes
and shopping and it made a great video
as well.
I didn't realize it at the time but only the
next day that i wasn't having any anxiety
at all and then took the week to myself except
for a couple videos and figuring out a couple
new programs for merchandise on my channel
on You Tube....
Yesterday i spent the day getting logos finalized
and deleting old designs then putting up the
new stuff then waiting for YT to catch up.
It took a few hours so now I am golden.
Projects abound and a months worth of anxiety
set me back 4 weeks...so I'm behind.
Ive got a new list of things to do but will it
all get done....Who knows.
Anxiety destroys your Life and anyone who
has suffered knows all too well you cant get
things done at all.
Orion and Helios are getting along and the last
few days ive seen him playing with the kitten.
When i play i now have 2 cats that want to play.
I am sure glad those two are getting along
much better and i think by winter it will
all be settled between them.
Now with my list in hand there are things to
be done and i have to get to it.
As far as construction....I really haven't had
the time i need to go any further.
Peace, BigT - Editor
Helios & The Power button Of Doom
Its been a month and a half since I became aquainted
with Helios who was the runt of the litter and was
constantly being crowded out of the food dish by his
other three siblings so i would take him aside and
feed him separately so he could get some evaporated
milk and chow.
Ever since July 16 th its been Orion, Helios and myself.
Orion had a bad case of PTSD because of Neptune and
I wasn't sure if he would let the kitten live...But he did.
And over the last month Helios tried as he might to win
over the orange tabby's heart and refused to give in.
About 2 weeks ago i saw Orion begin to play with Helios
and now they can sit with each other, drink out of the
same bowl and eat off the same saucer and play til they
become so tuckered out both of them need a nap.
Helios is just so darn curious and gets into all sorts
of mayhem. So the kitten found his favorite perch...
On top of my computer rig then made his way to the
front of the computer and saw this lighted button
that changes color and started patting at it with
his little feet and i caught this out of the corner of my
eye and couldn't stop him then poof....the screen goes
black then says shutting down.....i was doing something
and i was furious but remembering hes just a kitten.
I put up a piece of cardboard and used duct tape to
fasten it as a barrier to keep the little one from doing it
again and to my dismay he was trying as he might to
get around it because its so shiny.
I then took a canola spray cap and taped it to the cap
and computer then he accessed the cap by some miracle
and started playing with it again....LOL
The cardboard wasn't doing its job very well and then to
my horror they started playing ring around the computer
together and Orion was on the chase.
Well my fat cat got tangled in the cables and wires then
the screen went black and the monitor went to standby.
I had to crawl under the desk and push Orion thru the
other way and reseat my Display port cable....Although
it has a locking plug the monitor has finicky video inputs
so i had to reseat the input then the screen came back.
Next i grabbed a 6 jug milk crate and put it inbetween
the rig and my retro rig to cut off his access but it doesn't
stop there so he tries to go the other way and i grabbed
a small section of plywood i was saving for a rainy day
and sealed the end of the desk.
Orion is now a bit upset about that and gave me a nip.
Helios figured this all out as he is small enough to get
around.
One fine evening i was doing a three hour upload to
You Tube and the white fluffy kitten used the crate to
bypass the barrier and got on top again and BOP
the screen went black and said shutting down.
I was at 9 minutes left...I was furious but hes just
a kitten so I ran another piece of tape on the other
side of the cap to secure the power button and ripped
down the cardboard and put my Ifixit Tool kit in place
as a better barrier and its worked so far.
The cover of this publication shows the ingenuity of
a determined kitten to try and play with the power
button regardless of what I do.
Helios is starting to figure out jumping and several
times hes gotten to the cap but cant wrestle the
glowing cap loose to pat the button....I can only
laugh at the humor of it all.
I am sure glad Both cats are not only getting along
but are having adventures in play time together.
Helios is downstairs and Orion has the loft, for now.
One of these days he will figure out the ladder and
come into the loft to sleep with me but for now that
is Orion's thing...Only time will tell.
Peace, BigT

Decisions...Decisions... & YT Channel
I have been building and experimenting with over
30 websites since 2006 when I first started my
career in the world of web.
I have done websites that were complete junk and
others that were as brilliant as I could muster.
This is my 3rd time owning WillowWhat.com
I enjoy pulling things from thin air and trying them out.
What comes next from my tiny yet cozy cabin I will
not elude to.
Willow has many good points and many bad points as any
community in Alaska yet I have called this my home for
31 years and my how the time has gone by.
We have a few sparse stores with a great Medical Clinic.
Anything past that and its a nice drive to the city.
My time on social media as a content creator has given me
many insights and provoked my thoughts and creative juices.
Also I have a decision to make about my You Tube channel
as well...do i continue on ?? I have made friends on YT and
gained a pen pal...I have recieved cards, letters and parcels
from viewers and subscribers alike and do appreciate all of it.
My decision will be made come January 4th 2026.
I have some changes to make that you the reader will not
notice...Too many PNG files that need to be converted
to JPEG....PNG files are massive so they use lots of
computer resources and the website multi page preview
takes 12 seconds to load....That is one example.
Using You tube I have shot little mini commercials for the site and
have gotten almost 18,000 views since April 2024 when I first
published it and I dare say I have been happy with the results and
fruits of the labor. Building websites is technical work as well
as mind numbing madness but the end results are totally worth
every minute of effort.
I had considered an E- Commerce Platform on Willow What but
I am only 1 person so that will not fly.
Any small biz like that requires quite a bit of start up cash...
If I do anything I will make certain it remains small and easy to
manage myself and in theory as it grows so does my fledgling
enterprise to the point i could take on a small staff.
There is many oodles of coding that has to be written to have
such a site...There are many markets the world over and
new ideas are bristling all over the internet.
Originality is being replaced by human engineered Artificial
Intelligence and now people depend on A.I. to do the
creativeness for them because they think its easier than doing
it themselves.
Anyone that has half a brain can see the writing on the wall
and I do too.
As Editor and Creator I refuse to go down that road because
I would like to use the creativeness of my mind and be as
original as possible....Relying upon myself and that makes
me and others like me as extinct as the dinosaurs.
All Hail A.I......Bleep.
Peace, BigT
The Future Is Always Unknown
Thats Right....No crystal ball Can predict the future
at least in my experience.
From my 1st day on my own flying to Alaska and
the inevitable mishaps thru early adulthood til
now...I could not predict any outcome.
Its like playing the Lottery...The odds are truly
stacked against you.
Ive hiked the likes of trails and mountains,
hunted a fair bit, fished my butt off, worked long
hours,snow machined to my delights,riverboated
and four wheeled all in my younger days.
Ive taken on odd jobs, shoveled snow, cleared snow
from roofs and that was extra cash..ive worked a
couple canneries and a couple cold storages.
Gotten blind drunk, had fist fights, and yeah ive lost
a few...Had a few girlfriends,made and lost friends
Had a woodshop,made candles,done computer jobs
built plenty of computers...Ive built a couple tree
houses and had camps deep in the forest and yes
learned about BEARS real fast and plenty of
encounters....Im the bear whisperer....etc..
Ive had quite the life and many adventures and yeah
I learned how to build my own websites.
I never could have predicted any of this and my mother
sure is proud of me and my accomplishments.
She told me she never would have thought that she
would have children in their 40s 50s or entering
their 60s like i will be next year.
As time wears on Ive known that my mom wont live
forever and at some point i will experience that
loss...everyone loses their parents at some point.
I am expecting some fudge for my 59th birthday.
Moms are great aren't they?
My mother has this secret recipe for Peanut
butter fudge...I am sure she will give me her
recipe one day but Ive got a fudge recipe I will
make for her and its so easy.
Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Fudge.
Its a 2 layer fudge and easy to make...Mom will
be 81 in January....
Finally...Ive got another 30 good years left and
if I play it right I could potentially hit 100....
Well maybe...who knows...
Peace,BigT
